Waterjet has many advantages over a propeller. The high performance of the water pump provides greater speed for the same power, or significantly lower fuel consumption at a constant speed with less power. At a constant RPM, the waterjet takes approximately the same power regardless of the ship’s speed, meaning the engine cannot be overloaded, which in turn gives it a longer lifespan.

Waterjets usually cause less vibration and noise, which improves passenger comfort. At speeds over 20 knots, noise and vibration can be reduced by more than 50%. The control system provides excellent maneuverability, allowing ships and boats to dock quickly and with great precision.
