Héðinn works alongside some of Iceland's most demanding industrial operations. The team fabricates and installs piping, steelwork, and process equipment for power generation, and carries out mechanical work on rotating and high-temperature equipment where tolerances and reliability matter.
Héðinn also maintains an on-site team at Grundartangi, working day to day inside the aluminum and ferro-silicon smelters. That embedded presence means fast response for maintenance, repair, and fabrication without waiting for an outside contractor to mobilize.

Héðinn's on-site team at Grundartangi works inside the smelters, which means maintenance, repair, and fabrication can start immediately when equipment needs attention. Behind that team stands the full workshop in Hafnarfjörður for machining, steel fabrication, and Hardox wear-part processing.
With focus on innovation we use 3D technology and remote systems to secure the fastest and most reliable solution for our customers. Pre-fabrication has become more and more important to reduce downtime as much as possible.
