Vísir.is the media contintued its coverage of the 100-year history of Héðinn on its website on the 27th of February 2022.

Thousands of individuals have worked at Héðinn over the 100 years the company has been in operation. Today, about one hundred people are employed there, and here a part of the team is shown. In the mid-20th century, the workforce numbered nearly five hundred, as more hands were often needed for each task, since machines and equipment were not as advanced as they are today. Héðinn long held account number 1 at the Industrial Bank, by then already a major workplace when that bank was established (later becoming Íslandsbanki). Today, Héðinn is considered one of the outstanding companies in Iceland according to Creditinfo, a distinction it has held since that rating system was first introduced into Icelandic business life.
