About Héðinn
Industrial engineering with a century of workshop knowledge
Héðinn is an Icelandic industrial company working across metalwork, mechanical engineering, marine systems, fisheries, energy, and heavy industry.

From idea to finished product
Héðinn combines engineering, fabrication, machining, installation, service, and supplier-backed marine expertise in one industrial organization. Customers come with practical problems: equipment that needs repair, plants that need improvement, systems that need clearer design, or vessels that need reliable support.
That mix of workshop and engineering capability is the core of the company. The work is grounded in real operating environments, where downtime, safety, tolerances, and serviceability decide whether a solution is actually useful.

Turning waste into value through innovation and experience
With over 100 years of experience, Héðinn combines innovation, knowledge and practical expertise to help our customers make better use of resources, creating value for businesses, people and society. We develop integrated solutions that improve efficiency, operational reliability and sustainability.
Building on our strengths. Looking ahead.
We aim to be recognised for turning waste and energy loss into value through technology that improves efficiency and reduces environmental impact, while continuing to deliver advanced solutions for fisheries, industry and energy.
Just as importantly, we want Héðinn to be a workplace people seek out: a place where expertise, innovation and a strong sense of community create the foundation for growth, wellbeing and shared responsibility.
